Responsibilities

With more than 35 years of investment experience, John formally retired from Norwest Equity Partners at the end of 2011. Over the years, he has been an integral part of the NEP team and was instrumental in spearheading the firm’s leveraged buyout endeavor back in the 1980s.

Experience

John joined NEP in 1984 and over the years has focused on buyouts, recapitalizations, and growth financings for a variety of NEP agribusiness, communications, retail, and transportation portfolio companies. His significant investment accomplishments include Jacobson Companies, CTC Distribution Services, Telex Communications, MSP Publications, Verio, and Automotive Industries. Prior to his NEP career, John was in banking for 10 years with Norwest Bank as an active lender in the management buyout marketplace.
