Responsibilities

As Managing Administrative Partner for the firm, John is actively involved in all activities for both buyout and mezzanine funds, including day-to-day operations of each as well as working closely with Wells Fargo, the firm's primary limited investment partner.

Experience

John brings more than 35 years of private equity investment experience to the firm. In 1977, he was hired to oversee the internal aspects of the growing company and to be one of the primary contact points for Northwest Bancorporation (the former legacy name of the Norwest bank operation). In addition to his administrative responsibilities, John has also worked with many portfolio companies over the years, including Corporate Express, Compressor Controls, Gymboree, and Select Comfort. He has served as a member of the board of governors of NASBIC and the Minnesota Society of Certified Public Accountants.
