Responsibilities

Kevin is a senior advisor to NEP and focuses on developing high-performance executive management teams for the firm’s portfolio companies. He has more than 20 years of extensive experience working primarily with private equity firm portfolio companies.

Experience

In 1984, Kevin founded Somerville Partners, Ltd.; a firm comprised of organizational consultants and experienced business leaders who apply the science of psychology to business challenges. Somerville Partners is based in Denver, Colorado and is one of the largest firms of its kind in the industry. Somerville Partners maintains a world-wide practice and is focused on working with middle market companies along with approximately 30 private equity firms and their portfolio companies. In addition in 2002, Kevin founded Success Profiles, Inc., a firm that installs fully customized selection systems that enable companies to make better decisions, including upgrading the average ability level of new hires, reducing turnover and training, and development costs. Kevin has been a business psychologist since 1975. He worked for RHR International for nine years, and his final years at the firm were spent as a regional manager responsible for consulting work with over 700 companies.
