Responsibilities

As an analyst at NEP, Justin works with management teams on buyout, recapitalization, and growth financing transactions across a variety of industries. Justin also spends a substantial amount of time assessing potential investment opportunities, performing company valuations, and supporting the day-to-day activities in the transaction process.

Experience

Justin joined NEP in 2008 after working at Clearwater Equity Group in Minneapolis. While at Clearwater, Justin prepared business valuations and conducted due diligence on acquisition targets as well as minority-interest investments. He also managed the firm's portfolio of public company investments. Prior to Clearwater, Justin worked as an analyst with Sherpa Partners, a venture capital firm focused on investing in early stage companies. Justin also worked with Jeffrey Slocum and Associates where he structured investment portfolios for institutional investors.
