Jim Sharman Joins NEP as Operating Advisor

Minneapolis, MN and West Palm Beach, FL, April 11, 2023 – Norwest Equity Partners (NEP) is pleased to announce that Jim Sharman has joined its Operating Advisory Team. Jim is a seasoned, global leader with diverse executive leadership experience in Industrial supply chain, consumer products, and technology marketplaces.   

Most recently, Jim was the President and COO of former NEP portfolio company GoHealth, a leading provider of technology and service solutions for the health care and insurance industries, where he held full P&L responsibility and led two highly successful liquidity events alongside the company’s founders. Prior to GoHealth, Jim helped scale Coyote Logistics, a freight broker and logistics services provider, and provided leadership through a successful sale and integration with UPS.   

Additionally, Jim has held leadership roles at Truecast Capital, World Kitchen, CNH/Case Corp, and International Paper after beginning his career in the US Army.  Jim brings board experience in public, private, JVs, and non-profits as chairman and board member. In addition to his role with NEP, Jim serves as Chair of the Board of Directors at The Shyft Group, a specialty vehicle manufacturer.

Jim holds his M.B.A. from Fuqua School of Business, Duke University and a Bachelor of Engineering and Quantitative Analysis from the United States Military Academy at West Point.
